Digester Cleaning

Digester Cleaning Services

Restore lost capacity and gas production with a contractor that has specialized in digesters for over 45 years.

Clean on a schedule, not in a crisis

We've always pushed agencies to clean digesters on a regular basis, not just when they're out of service or close to it. Grit, rags and settled solids steal active volume a little at a time, and regular cleaning keeps the process stable and the cost predictable.

USRS developed its own equipment and cleaning method to make digester cleaning as fast, safe and efficient as possible, which is how we typically come in at or below projected or budgeted costs.

Long-term maintenance contracts

USRS was instrumental in setting up some of the first long-term digester cleaning maintenance contracts with cities. Three- and five-year contracts keep digesters on a regular schedule and lock in lower pricing.

“The” Digester Cleaners

USRS is one of the longest-established digester cleaning companies in the country, and that history is why we're known as “The” Digester Cleaners.
